IN STUDIO BOOKINGS

My home studio is based in Laverton, right off the freeway and generally very easy to get to, park ect. It has wonderful natural light and a very comfortable space for you to get your makeup done. Booking in studio is a great way to save money on mobile callout costs and travel fees. Plus its the perfect set up to have your hair and makeup done if your house is dark/lacking space ect. You are welcome to bring a friend to your booking to join us!

MINIMUM CALL OUTS

Due to how busy the roads are these days and the amount of traffic in Melbourne which can double the travel time to a location at certain times and days. There may be a minimum service callout for the time of your booking. At peak times I require a two service minimum to travel out for bookings. Two services could look like a hair and makeup for one person or makeup for 2 people. Please check with me if there is a minimum call out for your preferred booking time 

TRIALS

Trials are held in my home studio in Laverton. I can come out to you if needed for an extra fee. I encourage you to find some inspirational pictures if you have a specific look in mind. If not we can work it out together. Some people like to book their trial to coordinate with another special occasion they might have. It is up to you whether or not you want to wait to secure your wedding date with a deposit after your trial. Most brides tend to feel comfortable enough to secure their date after checking my style is what they are looking for from photos on my social media, website and through testimonials. Then they worry about booking their trial date later when it pleases them.

TRAVEL COSTS

You will notice that the price for mobile call out services differ from in studio bookings, so added travel fees might seem confusing. The reason that mobile services are more expensive to start with are because of many factors. The effort/inconvenience of having to pack up and pack down a large amount of equipment, carrying our heavy kits in and out of cars and in and out of houses, the large chunk of time that is factored in that we lose going place to place, which takes time out of our day that we could be enjoying or time that we could be doing other makeups if we were in studio. So then the travel fee on top simply covers the price of petrol (which is more than ever!) tolls and travel time. Travel fees are calculated at .75c per km round trip. Please check with me if there are any travel fees. I may not charge them based on your location or where I might be coming from that day.

DEPOSITS
A 50% deposit is required to secure your date for all weddings or group bookings. 
Please note that all deposits/retainers are non refundable and if you decide to cancel your booking the deposit then compensates for loss of bookings in that time. 

HAIR AND MAKEUP                                                     
For bookings of more than 2 people who would like both hair and makeup, I recommend booking a separate stylist to do hair. Please have a look at my preferred vendors page to see a list of the stylists I love to work with. Of course if you would like to use your own preferred stylist that is more than ok. I don’t offer hair service only for wedding groups as makeup is my primary passion and preference. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Public Holiday surcharge + $50

• Early start fees

• $50 per every 30 mins before 6.30am 

• An upfront strictly non refundable retainer of 50% of the total booking is required for all bookings to secure your booking date.

• Please book for the minimum amount of people you are sure will need makeup. You can add numbers later subject to time/availability but once you have booked for selected amount of people, full payment will still be required if numbers change/reduce within 30 days of event. This is to avoid last minute cancellations that could have been filled with other business

• Deposits payments are non refundable after 7 days. 

• Client is responsible for payment of parking if location requires paid parking
